PIGMENT HOT PRESSING FILMS

Pigmented hot stamping foils offer many of the advantages of metallic hot stamping foils in terms of color application, compared to metallic inks and liquid coatings.

  • Application areas include graphic design, caps, packaging, plastics, and sheet metal.
  • It can be supplied in rolls, cut to the length and width specified by the customer.
  • Additional special qualities and shades are available upon request.

Product Types

PG:

High-quality matte pigment film for general-purpose applications. Perfect for both fine detail and large-area coverage required by the labeling, packaging, and graphics industries.

EZ:

Designed for printing letters and fine details in depth on hard plastics, its easily removable design provides medium coverage for fine detail prints.

432:

A premium heat transfer pigment foil suitable for both fine detail and large area coating applications. Extremely versatile and usable on a wide variety of surfaces. Features a “tear-off” property for high speed and easy application.

UA:

A versatile, general-purpose matte pigment foil that provides excellent coverage and definition.

Specifically, the use of heat and pressure to apply pigment foil ensures that the contours of the substrate are smoothed and a smooth surface is achieved in the ‘printed’ area.

This allows for clean, high-quality text and graphics even on irregular, rough, and textured surfaces.

Another significant advantage of using foil is the simple and clean application process. Because it involves fewer variables, machines are generally inexpensive and easy to use. Furthermore, since there are no process chemicals to manage, associated health, safety, and environmental concerns are eliminated.

This makes pigmented hot stamping foils particularly suitable for low-volume, high-quality label applications.

On plastics and other solid materials, the printing process can be structured to embed text or graphics deep into the substrate; this creates a full, smooth, and clean-edged color layer beneath the surface, protected from abrasion and wear.

Compared to inks and liquid coatings, foils offer greater color depth and opacity by providing a higher pigment load per unit area.

Finally, the foil’s resistance properties are crucial in functional applications such as weather-exposed products like conveyor surfaces or vehicle license plates.
