WEB-FED COLD FOIL

What is Cold Gilding?

Cold foil application is a process where metallic foil is transferred to the surface using a special adhesive and UV curing system, without the use of heat. It integrates with flexographic printing machines, enabling inline (on-line) production.

How to apply with Flexo Printing?

  • A special adhesive is first pressed onto the surface.
  • Then the foil is transferred to the surface.
  • It is fixed with UV light.
  • Excess foil is separated

This process enables high-speed and uninterrupted production.
