Cold offset foil is a modern printing technique in which metallic foil is transferred onto a surface using a UV adhesive, without the use of heat. Compared to traditional hot foil stamping, it offers faster production, lower cost, and the ability to reproduce finer details. It is especially efficient for high-volume print runs, significantly improving overall production productivity.
A UV-based special adhesive is applied only to the areas where foiling is required, using offset printing plates.
The metallized foil comes into contact with the substrate during printing and adheres only to the areas where adhesive is applied.
The foil, which is instantly cured with UV light, is permanently fixed to the surface.
Because it doesn’t require heat or extra processing, the production process is quite fast.
It offers a cost advantage because it can be implemented without the need for clichés.
Fine lines and small details can be printed clearly.
Color printing and foiling can be applied simultaneously.
Since it requires no additional processing, production time is shortened.
It’s an ideal solution for minimalist and stylish designs.
It saves time by speeding up the production process.
It offers high quality at a lower cost.
Less energy is consumed because no heat is used.
Because it doesn’t require extra clichés or processing, the waste rate is low.
